Enshoji Temple

Enshoji Temple houses the "Ihai" (the Buddhist Mortuary Tablet) of Tsutsui Junsho, father of Tsutsui Junkei, and such temple is called a Tsutsuis’ family temple. This temple is dedicated to wooden seated Sakyamuni Buddha (Shakanyorai) statue. Reservation is required in advance for admission.

Access	From Kintetsu Tomio Station(Kintetsu Nara Line) please take the bus Bound for Hoji and get off at Degaito stop, or alternatively from Gakuennmae Sation (Kintetsu Nara Line) take the bus bound for Gakken-kitaikoma Station or its reverse course and get off at Mayumi 4-chome stop.
